ST.PETE ART& FASHION WEEK is a series of Art & Runway Fashion Shows presented once a year in September. The event features activities for the whole family including Free Workshops, Boutique Shows, Art Shows, and Live Music along with High End Fashion & Art Galas. Galas feature Spring/ Summer Designer Collections, Avante Garde Hair Shows, Exclusive Art Shows and Charity Presentations.
Prolific Quarterly had the opportunity to participate in Fashion Week and cover the events. The images included here are from the September 16th Fashion show shot by photographer Mark Anthony Smith. The Designers featured in this years show were: Aurora Threads, LACHELLELUX, Black Jack, Erika Williner, Emahr Moon and Helen Gerro.
The opening night was the VIP Opening Night Soiree. People came dressed in their most fashionable outfits and walked the red carpet. Also the attendees got to mix and mingle with all the fashion designers and models. Drinks were pouring and a good time was had.
The second night was The Making of the Runway. This night local artist created the 2017 fashion show runway during a live art presentation. There was creativity in the air and dynamic art creations birthed.
Then we moved to the third day the Art Inspired Designer Trunk Show. Here you didn’t want to miss your chance to shop for exclusive art and designer attire while you watch live presentations by the local artists.
SPFW was wrapped up with the Runway Fashion show that showed off all the Designers and their Creative Designs. Vendors and Viewers got to see this fantastic show and designs never seen before.
