Hats have never been worn universally since the 1920s. They were popular again in the 1980s for weddings and special occasions after the Princess of Wales, Diana used them to add a sense of sophistication to her persona in the early days of her marriage. Thus bringing Hats back in style and back on the runways across the world.

Hats when worn today are classified as a Fashion statement accenting an outfit or simply topping it off. If you look at upper class woman at the Kentucky Derby you will see hats as a centerpiece and the outfit following the hat. Either way hats are Fashion and one of the most sought out accent pieces in the market today.
